Development of frims lay dormant for most of 2008. This year though, one of my New Year Resolutions is to revive the project and get a working version as early as possible, without compromising on the quality of the core code.

After much debate & deliberation, we are moving from ets to smarty template engine!
I'm in the process of converting all the code, then we can continue with normal development

Lots of new information to discuss. Firstly I have just registered a new domain for the project, frims.org.uk. I know it isn't a UK only or based project but .org (which was the preference) was already taken and .com (the latter by a registrar, I hate it when they do that!).

Second is that our project is now on SourceForge! From now on, all members wishing to help and volounteer their services, will be required to signup at sourceforge as well. We'll be using them for site stats, downloads, CVS, tasks, and all the different trackers they provide (bugs, requests etc). The development forum will remain here NOT at sourceforge.

Thanks to manofgames(this-alex) for pointing out the inefficient bbcode and smilie functions, they have been updated.
Now running from a file, it all runs much quicker
